In Summary
- This recipe portions provide between 4 to 6 meals.
- Do not store in plastic containers. Use glass jars. You want to avoid the plastic leaching into the food.
- Avoid freezing. Instead eat during the next few days. It's so simple to make and delicious that freezing becomes a bit of a waste of time.
- Only reheat what you want to eat. Each re-heat will reduce the nutrient content.
- Do not use a microwave oven. Instead gently bring food up to a temperature. Do not overheat as it will significantly reduce nutrient content.
Microwave Ovens
The problem for microwave heating technologies is that they can significantly reduce the quality and nutrient content of foods.
Plus they emit microwave radiation that is not safe.
Society has become used to microwave as a convenient cooking method.
However it is just as simple to take a pan and gently reheat food. You only have to make it your prefered method of cooking for better health.
